MB-78EI System – Certified Fire Protection for Your Projects
The MB-78EI system enables the construction of fire-resistant partitions with EI 15 to EI 90 doors, in compliance with the PN-EN 13501-2:2016 standard.
It offers excellent thermal insulation (Uf from 1.60 W/m²K) and acoustic insulation (up to 40 dB).
The doors can also be certified as:
✅ smoke-tight (S200, Sa),
✅ self-closing (C5).

The structure of the MB-78EI system is based on thermally broken aluminium profiles with a depth of 78 mm. Thanks to the use of specialized components, including 34 mm-wide profiled insulating strips, these profiles feature a low thermal transmittance coefficient.
Fire resistance of the structure at high temperatures is ensured by special fire-retardant insulation elements made of GKF or CI boards, integrated into the internal chambers of the profiles and into the insulating spaces between them. Steel reinforcements and connectors further enhance the system’s stability.
The filling thickness in the MB-78EI system ranges from 6 to 65 mm. It allows the use of all standard fire-resistant glazing types, as well as multi-layer opaque panels made of sheet metal and technical boards, ensuring the required level of fire protection.
The system also enables the construction of smoke control structures.
The MB-78EI system enables the construction of fixed partitions up to 4 meters high, as well as single or double-leaf hinged doors with leaf dimensions of up to 1.4 x 2.5 m. The doors can be installed individually, integrated into larger glazed structures, or used within fire-rated façades built with the MB-SR50EI and MB-SR50N EI systems.
In addition to its broad design capabilities, the system offers wide compatibility with hinges, locks, door closers, and other fittings, along with optimized manufacturing technology.

Mullion-free partitions MB-78EI,
MB-118EI partitions, providing fire resistance up to EI120.
The system is backed by multiple technical approvals for use in European and Middle Eastern markets.
